A trailer fire forced the closure of Highway 43 between Pickerell Avenue and Whitley Avenue in the Corcoran area Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025,, with detours in place and traffic delays expected, authorities said. (CHP)

A section of Highway 43 between Pickerell Avenue and Whitley Avenue in the Corcoran area was closed due to a trailer fire Wednesday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.

A detour is in place, and drivers are advised to expect delays and use alternate routes while the closure remains in effect.
