Metta World Peace, a former NBA champion formerly known as Ron Artest, and sports manager Paul Guarino have joined forces to co-manage professional boxer Chordale “The Gift” Booker, they announced in a joint statement.

“Chordale’s story represents everything we stand for — perseverance, purpose, and passion,” World Peace said. “We’re looking forward to helping him grow his platform and continue to inspire through boxing.”

Booker, a world-ranked super welterweight from Stamford, Connecticut, with a 24-2 record and 12 knockouts, is known for his resilience and skill, having fought for the unified WBO and WBC World Titles earlier this year.

The partnership between World Peace’s Artest Management Group and Guarino’s PG Sports aims to elevate Booker’s career inside and outside the ring, focusing on sponsorships, brand growth, and cross-industry opportunities.

“I’m excited to team up with Metta and his team,” Booker said. “He’s achieved greatness at the highest level in sports and business, and I know together with Paul we can take my career to the next level.”

“At PG Sports, we like to do things outside the box,” Guarino said. “Having an NBA champion like Metta co-manage a boxer like Chordale shows why our approach is unique.”

Booker is expected to return to the ring in early 2026 as he continues his pursuit of another world title opportunity.
