Madera Police Arrest Man After Finding 83 Grams of Meth at Gas Station

A man was arrested Tuesday night after officers found more than 80 grams of methamphetamine during a check at a Madera gas station, police said.

Officer Quintana approached a man loitering at Tesei Petroleum and tried to search him, according to the Madera Police Department.

The man, identified as Yaohui Huang, 47, allegedly tried to destroy a taped box he had been carrying before officers intervened.

Police said the box contained 83 grams of methamphetamine. Huang was also found with a meth pipe and was booked into the Madera County Jail on suspicion of narcotics sales.
