Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with an aggravated sexual abuse case that occurred in Yosemite National Park.

Officials said Nathan Thomas Baptista, 37, is wanted on a federal warrant for aggravated sexual abuse.

The alleged crime occurred on June 7, 2024, and Baptista has been named Valley Crime Stoppers’ Most Wanted of the Day for Tuesday.

Baptista is described as a white man, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes.

Officials said he is known to frequent national parks and other wilderness areas and has a history of substance abuse, DUI and vehicle theft.
