A man was shot and injured Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, in the parking lot of a Madera supermarket, police said. (Madera PD)

A man was hospitalized Saturday evening after being shot in the parking lot of the Rancho San Miguel Supermarket in Madera, police said.

Officers arrived to find an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Madera Police Department.

Investigators believe the shooting was an isolated incident and said there is no ongoing threat to the public or to the store.
