Pedestrian Struck and Killed on Mooney Boulevard in Visalia

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday evening at the intersection of Mooney Boulevard and Feemster Avenue, according to the Visalia Police Department.

Officers responded around 5:47 p.m., and the pedestrian was taken to Kaweah Health, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police said the department’s Traffic Unit is investigating the crash. Mooney Boulevard south of Tulare Avenue remained closed for one to two hours following the collision.
