A man was arrested after another man was fatally stabbed Friday night at a Carl’s Jr. restaurant in central Fresno, police said.
Officers responded to the fast-food restaurant near Blackstone and Griffith avenues around 8:11 p.m. and found Manuel Lopez, 44, suffering from multiple stab wounds, according to the Fresno Police Department.
Lopez was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said officers later found Ashton Dejean, 43, nearby.
Dejean matched the suspect’s description and initially refused to comply with officers before being detained, authorities said.
He was booked into the Fresno County Jail on suspicion of murder and resisting arrest.
The motive remains under investigation.
