In an email to GV Wire, Amazon Web Services said that it wasn’t experiencing any issues today and disputed Downdetector’s numbers indicating that nearly 20,000 AWS users were experiencing problems on Tuesday morning.
“AWS is operating normally, and this reporting is incorrect. The only resource on the internet that provides accurate data on the availability of our services is the AWS Health Dashboard,” a company spokesperson said.
Original Story
Amazon Web Services experienced an outage Wednesday, with thousands of users reporting issues, according to Downdetector.com.
Nearly 20,000 users had reported problems with the platform as of 10:05 a.m. PT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.
This comes after a major Amazon Web Services outage last week that disrupted numerous websites relying on its platform.
