Cali is a young blind kitten who’s as independent as she is affectionate.

She enjoys the company of her two kitten friends but also loves her quiet moments — lounging near her human or perched up high in her favorite cat tree, taking in the world around her.

She has a playful side, too! Cali enjoys batting around spring toys and engaging with wand toys that make fun sounds. Toys she can hear and track are her favorite, and she’s great at using her other senses to explore and play.

Cali’s Backstory

Cali came to The Cat House on the Kings weighing less than 2 pounds, without a mama, and a severe upper respiratory eye infection. Thus, she went into immediate treatment. Even though she  made it through and grew, it was determined that she needed a double-eye removal in January for a full recovery.

While she may need a little time to adjust to new sounds or spaces, Cali is brave and adapts quickly. She’s looking for a calm, loving home where she can feel safe, stretch out in a sunny spot, and enjoy gentle playtime.

If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion with a curious spirit, Cali might be the perfect match.

How to Adopt Cali

To adopt Cali or see other available cats and kittens, visit The Cat House on the Kings.

All adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas, and litter-box trained. Thirty days of pet insurance is included with an adoption.

The nonprofit Cat House on the Kings is California’s largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center.
