YouTube says that it has fixed an issue affecting video streaming services for users Wednesday afternoon.

At its peak, 366,172 users in the U.S. had reported issues with YouTube, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources.

YouTube experienced a widespread outage Wednesday, with thousands of users reporting issues, according to Downdetector.com.

More than 200,000 users had reported problems with the platform as of 4:36 p.m. PT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Update at 4:40 p.m. PT

Nearly 300,000 users had reported a problem with YouTube.

Update at 5:00 p.m. PT

Over 600,000 users have reported a problem with the platform.

More than 1 million users have reported issues with YouTube, though the number of new reports is slowing.
