Tulare Police Investigate Thursday Night Shooting That Left One Dead

One man has died and another was injured following a shooting Thursday night near the intersection of F Street and King Avenue, Tulare police said.

Officers responded at approximately 10:45 p.m. to a report of two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.

One victim was found unresponsive at the scene, while the other sustained a non-life-threatening injury.

Both were transported to a nearby hospital, where the unresponsive victim died Friday, authorities said.

The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Detectives and evidence technicians are investigating the shooting, interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence to identify the suspect or suspects, police said.
