Mort is the biggest of his litter and definitely leans into his role as the laid-back, big 6-month-old brother.
He’s calm, steady, and not much rattles him. In fact, he’s the type of kitten who doesn’t flinch when the train goes by, and who happily hangs out in your arms when you scoop him up.
But when it’s mealtime, watch out! Mort gets a little more animated. That’s because he loves snacks, treats, and anything involving food, and he’ll make sure you know it’s
dinnertime. He’s not pushy about it — just very motivated.
Mort is a great mix of mellow and affectionate, and would make a perfect companion for someone looking for a confident, cuddly kitten who keeps it cool most of
the time and brings the enthusiasm when it counts.
Mort’s Back Story
Part of a ranch litter that was addressed before becoming a larger ongoing problem, Mort and his siblings were caught very young, weighing just over a pound each. They went into one of The Cat House on the Kings foster homes while their mother cat was captured for spay and returned to live out her life on the ranch.
A few siblings have been adopted, hopefully it is Mort’s turn now.
