The Fresno Police Department, in partnership with Valley Crime Stoppers, is asking the community for help in solving the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old man.
Officers responded at 5:07 p.m. Thursday, April 10, to a ShotSpotter alert near Bardell and George avenues reporting 32-bullets fired, Valley Crime Stoppers said in a statement.
Authorities found Taylor Washington with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives determined Washington was shot near Bardell and George avenues before fleeing on foot and collapsing in a nearby backyard.
Investigators recovered several shell casings and noted that multiple vehicles in the area had been struck by gunfire.
No arrests have been made, and the suspect remains unknown.
Detectives continue to pursue leads and believe several people were present when the shooting occurred.
