Visalia police arrested a man wanted in connection with an assault and uncovered guns, drugs and an illegal lab during a search of a Goshen home, authorities said.
Officers with the department’s HOPE Team located and arrested Anthony LaBeef, 30, on Friday after a morning assault involving a deadly weapon, the Visalia Police Department said in a statement.
Detectives served a search warrant at a residence tied to LaBeef’s alleged criminal activity and found two stolen firearms, high-capacity magazines, and conversion devices capable of making guns fully automatic, according to police.
Officers also discovered narcotics packaged for sale, an illegal Honey Oil extraction lab and an indoor marijuana grow.
LaBeef was booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility on several felony charges, including assault with a deadly weapon, possession of stolen firearms, narcotics sales and operating a BHO lab.
