A man is in stable condition after being stabbed Thursday afternoon in Tulare, police said.

Officers were dispatched around 2:53 p.m. to the area of Inyo and C streets after receiving reports of a man screaming and hunched over, according to the Tulare Police Department.

When they arrived, officers found the man had been stabbed and he was taken to a hospital.
