The Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable NFL franchise for a 19th straight year, according to the annual list published by Forbes last week.
In addition, Forbes estimated that all of the league’s teams are worth at least $5 billion for the first time.
The Cowboys, who have only made the playoffs six times in the last 15 seasons and not celebrated a Super Bowl championship since 1996, are worth $13 billion, up 29% from 2024 and double their valuation from four years ago.
Who’s Next on the List?
The Los Angeles Rams ($10.5 billion), New York Giants ($10.1 billion), New England Patriots ($9 billion) and San Francisco 49ers ($8.6 billion) rounded out the top five.
The average team value in the NFL now sits at $7.1 billion, a 25% increase over 2024, according to Forbes.
The Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles ($8.3 billion) were sixth on the Forbes list while the Cincinnati Bengals ($5.25 billion) were the lowest-valued franchise.
