Police in Sanger have arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with a shooting earlier this month that left a 15-year-old boy injured.

The Sanger Police Department said investigators on Friday arrested Robert Isaiah Torres of Sanger on suspicion of felony accessory to a crime.

Detectives believe Torres aided the primary suspect in the Friday, Aug. 8, shooting in the 500 block of Faller Avenue.

The teen victim was wounded in what police described as an attempted homicide.

Torres was booked into the Fresno County Jail.

The arrest follows that of Julian Ulloa, 18, who police have identified as the primary suspect.

The case remains under investigation, and anyone with information is urged to call Sanger police at (559) 875-8522 or Valley Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
