A joint DUI enforcement operation over the weekend led to 17 arrests for driving under the influence in and around Visalia, authorities said.
The Visalia Police Department partnered with the California Highway Patrol as part of an ongoing effort to crack down on impaired driving and improve road safety.
Officials said more joint operations are planned in the future.
The enforcement effort was supported by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
