Two students suffered minor injuries Thursday morning in a crash involving a Golden Valley Unified School District bus, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The three-vehicle collision occurred around 7:18 a.m. at the intersection of Avenue 12 and Road 32.

Authorities said a 2014 Kenworth semi-truck skidded while attempting to stop for traffic, striking a 2013 GMC Terrain and pushing it into the path of the school bus, which was making a turn.
The bus, carrying 29 students, was hit on its left side.

An 18-year-old and a 16-year-old student were transported to Valley Children’s Hospital with complaints of pain, authorities said.
Officials said alcohol and drugs were not suspected factors in the crash.
