History and Impact of the Prayer Breakfast
Beginning in the 1940s, the event has become one of the Valley’s biggest annual community gatherings. The event’s primary mission is “to lift our communities in prayer; to see our Christian community united and prayerfully supportive of our civic leaders; to see 100 of our local pastors attend the prayer breakfast.”
Over 2,000 guests are expected to attend. Pro Football Hall of Fame coach Tony Dungy spoke last year.
