Find out how Zipline’s drones are being used to deliver lifesaving supplies in eight countries across four continents at Tuesday night’s San Joaquin Valley Town Hall event.

The founder and CEO of Zipline, Keller Rinaudo Cliffton, is sharing his transformative work in robotics and healthcare at 7 p.m. at the Mercedes Edwards Theatre in Clovis.

Cliffton’s presentation is titled “From Sky to Supply” and he’ll demonstrate the incredible capabilities of his drones and share secrets of their life-saving missions.

About Zipline

Zipline is the world’s largest global autonomous commercial delivery system, providing thousands of hospitals, homes, and businesses with supplies.

The organization began delivering medical products, such as blood and plasma, in Rwanda in 2016. This process made routine supply drops and emergency drops, focusing on providing access to blood and ensuring that none went to waste.

Now it has expanded to provide food, retail, agriculture, and animal health products to the United States, Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, Cote D’lvoire (Ivory Coast), Kenya, and Japan.

Zipline drones, nicknamed Zips, have flown more than 80 million commercial miles. They operate through two platforms — long-range delivery and precise home delivery. The 50-pound aircraft are completely electric, providing a 98% reduction in delivery emissions compared to cars and a 94% reduction compared to electric vehicles.
