Sanger Man Killed in Shooting Identified

A man in his mid-40s was shot and killed in Sanger on Wednesday night, and police are investigating the incident. (Sanger PD)

The Fresno County Sheriff – Coroner’s Office identified the man killed as Felipe Miranda, 46, of Sanger.

Original Story

A man in his mid-40s was fatally shot in Sanger late Wednesday night, prompting an investigation, the Sanger Police Department said.

Sanger officers responded to reports of gunfire around 10:20 p.m. in the 900 block of N Street, where they found the man with a gunshot wound.

He was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center but did later died.

Detectives say have spoken with witnesses at the homicide location and are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
