The 49th annual ClovisFest and Hot Air Balloon Fun Fly is set to welcome thousands of visitors to Old Town Clovis on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will stretch from 3rd to 8th Streets, offering free parking at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds after the hot air balloon launch.
Presented by the Clovis Chamber of Commerce and Table Mountain Casino Resort, the family-friendly event will feature cultural performances, hot air balloon displays, and a variety of attractions.
This year, Comcast will debut its hot air balloon in California, making its inaugural flight at the festival. The Hot Air Balloon Fun Fly begins each morning at 6 a.m. with the “dawn-fire” Balloon Glow, where pilots prepare their balloons for launch. Tethered rides will be available for $20, with balloons rising 50 to 75 feet in the air.
