The Valley PBS Board of Trustees didn’t meet at noon Thursday, contrary to the online meeting schedule on the station’s website.

The September meeting has traditionally been the annual meeting where the station audit is presented, among other topics.

Laura Goodreau, the station’s membership coordinator, told GV Wire Thursday morning that the meeting was postponed to next month.

“There were some changes that arose with all the staff changes and situations created from our damaged equipment in the fire,” she said in an email.

The staff changes include the resignation of Jeff Aiello as the station’s president and CEO and Nancy Borjas as the chief operating officer and the naming of Robert Mollison first as COO and then his appointment to the station’s top job. Mollison was previously director of membership, director of marketing, and director of programming.

The station is recovering from a wildfire on Bear Mountain that damaged its tower and transmitter and caused $2 million in damages. While awaiting repairs, Valley PBS resumed on-air operations through an agreement with Cocola Broadcasting Companies that put 18.1 back on the air.
