Fresno County Detectives Investigating Suspicious Death of Parlier Man

Homicide detectives are investigating the death of Silvino Serrano, 63, of Parlier after his body was discovered in a residential yard early Friday morning, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said in a Saturday news release.

At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Friday, deputies and EMS responded to a home on South Zediker Avenue, just south of Adams Avenue, after a resident reported finding an injured man.

Serrano was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have classified the death as suspicious, noting injuries consistent with homicide.

Detectives are urging anyone who knew Serrano or has information regarding his recent activities to come forward.
