Adam, a tiny poodle mix weighing less than 10 pounds, was rescued after being discovered living alone at an abandoned home deep in the countryside.
The rescue team found Adam cowering under a rickety wooden porch, a scene that could have come straight out of a horror movie.
His rescuers, armed with Wienerschnitzel hot dogs, managed to coax the frightened pup out of his hiding spot.

Covered in ticks and clearly having fended for himself for days, if not weeks, Adam was immediately taken to a vet for care.
Now cleaned up and in good health, this shy little guy is searching for a loving family. Adam is estimated to be around one to two years old and, while he’s still a bit timid with new people, he’s incredibly sweet and loves to snuggle like a baby.
Though he’s not much of a barker, Adam’s rescuers believe that with a little patience and a lot of love, he will blossom in a home that understands his shy nature.
For anyone looking to add a gentle, cuddly companion to their family, Adam might just be the perfect fit!
