Influential Republicans are pushing their party to support Vice President Harris over former President Trump, reports KVPR.

During an online rally for “Republicans for Harris,” former officials and party leaders advocated for Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Former Rep. Denver Riggleman, who served as an adviser to the Jan. 6 committee, labeled Trump a “conspiracy theorist” and stated he could not support someone who undermines the Constitution.

Craig Snyder, who leads Haley Voters for Harris, emphasized the need to preserve American democracy, calling for Republicans to back Harris despite policy differences. Other speakers echoed concerns about Trump’s impact on democracy and framed abortion rights as a critical issue.

Organizers reported over 70,000 attendees and encouraged Republicans to volunteer and publicly support Harris’ campaign.
