Fresno County plans at least three voting updates on Election Day, starting shortly after 8 p.m. (GV Wire/Jahz Tello)

- Fresno County’s first election results expected shortly after 8 p.m., with multiple updates throughout the night.
- Early results include ballots returned through Saturday; in-person voting updates expected between 9:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.
- Tuesday's updates will add in-person voting.

Fresno County election officials will release the first results shortly after 8 p.m. on election night, with two or three additional updates expected throughout the evening, according to County Clerk/Registrar of Voters James Kus.
The initial results will include ballots returned through Saturday, Kus told GV Wire.
Here’s the estimated result release schedule for the week, as provided by Kus:
Election Day
- Shortly after 8 p.m.: Election returns through Nov. 2.
- Between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.: All or partial in-person voting from 10 voting centers that opened on Oct. 30 (and the downtown election headquarters that opened Oct. 7).
- Between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.: All or partial in-person voting from all the voting centers.
- Between 12 a.m. and 12:30 a.m.: A possible update with more in-person voting results.
Thursday
- By 5 p.m.: Vote-by-mail ballots received Nov. 3 through approximately Nov. 5, plus any other in-person results.
The voter return through Saturday for races GV Wire is closely following that should be part of the first update:
- Fresno City Council District 6 — Roger Bonakdar vs. Nick Richardson: 39%
- Fresno County Supervisor District 2 — Steve Brandau (incumbent) vs. Garry Bredefeld: 37%
- Fresno County Supervisor District 3 — Sal Quintero (incumbent) vs. Luis Chavez: 21%
Multi-county races
Here are the returns through Saturday for Assembly and congressional races. However, they include more than just Fresno County.
- Assembly District 8 — David Tangipa, R-Clovis vs. George Radanovich, R-Mariposa: 41%
- Assembly District 27 — Esmeralda Soria, D-Fresno (incumbent) vs. Joanna Garcia Rose, D-Atwater: 25%
- Congressional District 22 — Jim Costa, D-Fresno (incumbent) vs. Michael Maher, R-Kingsburg: 23%
- Congressional District 22 — John Duarte, R-Modesto (incumbent) vs. Adam Gray, D-Merced: 25%
- Congressional District 22 — David Valadao, R-Kings County (incumbent) vs. Rudy Salas, D-Bakersfield: 21%
