Authorities are investigating the death of a man found in a Reedley orchard on Sunday evening.
Dispatchers received a call reporting a possibly injured man near the intersection of Buttonwillow and Springfield avenues.

Reedley police officers and emergency medical personnel found the man dead in the orchard and determined he had injuries consistent with homicide.
The victim has been identified as Santos Rios Ventura, 46.

Being in county jurisdiction, detectives from the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office responded.
The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
