Law enforcement arrested four individuals in Tulare County and confiscated a substantial cache of illegal firearms, ammunition, drugs, and cash.

Further investigations showed broader alleged criminal activities leading to the arrest of a cohort suspected of drug trafficking and manufacturing.

The searches yielded two shotguns, four rifles, six handguns, approximately 20 large-capacity magazines, 14 standard-capacity magazines, over 2,200 rounds of ammunition, 150 pounds of liquid codeine, about 200 pounds of marijuana and concentrated cannabis, psilocybin mushrooms, ecstasy, a hash oil lab, and a significant sum of U.S. currency.

“This series of arrests underscores the critical role of the Armed and Prohibited Persons System in safeguarding our communities,” state Attorney General Rob Bonta said. “What began as an effort to remove firearms from a prohibited individual evolved into dismantling an entire criminal network.”

The four suspects, Alisa Lewis, 32, Domonique Eldridge, 33, Marquis Loring, 31, and Thomas Browning, 25, were booked into the Tulare County Detention Facility.

Lewis and Eldridge are charged with maintaining a place for selling or using controlled substances, two counts of unlawful possession of an assault weapon, the unlawful manufacture of weapons, and child abuse.

Loring and Browning are charged with maintaining place for selling or using a controlled substance and possession of controlled substances.

Browning was also charged with unlawful possession of an assault weapon and cannabis posession.
