When Will Fresno State's Newest Grads Celebrate Their Diplomas? Here's the Schedule

Fresno State’s Class of ’24 will be recognized at commencement ceremonies on May 17 and 18 at the Save Mart Center, the university announced Wednesday.

They are:

  • Craig School of Business, 8 to 9:30 a.m. May 17.
  • College of Social Sciences, 10:30 a.m. to noon May 17.
  • College of Arts and Humanities, 1 to 2:30 p.m. May 17.
  • Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, 3:30 to 5 p.m. May 17.
  • Kremen School of Education and Human Development, 7 to 8:30 p.m. May 17.
  • Lyles College of Engineering, 8 to 9:30 a.m. May 18.
  • College of Health and Human Services, 10:30 to noon May 18.
  • College of Science and Mathematics, 3 to 4:30 p.m. May 18.

Ceremonies will be livestreamed on the Fresno State commencement webpage.

There also will be “affinity” celebrations May 18-19 at various campus locations, including the largest, the Chicano/Latino Commencement Celebration from 7 to 9:30 p.m. May 18 at the Save Mart Center.

Other affinity celebrations are:

  • International Convocation, 1 to 2:30 p.m. May 18, Satellite Student Union.
  • African American Student Recognition Ceremony, 5 to 6 p.m. May 18, Student Recreation Center.
  • Rainbow Graduation Celebration, 11 to noon May 19, Satellite Student Union.
  • Asian American and Pacific Islander Graduation Celebration, 12:30 to 2 p.m. May 19, Student Recreation Center.
  • American Indian Graduation Honoring and Celebration, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. May 19, The Ruiz Ballroom, Resnick Student Union, first floor.

Two other celebrations will be held prior to commencement weekend:

  • Renaissance Scholars Program end-of-year celebration, 2 to 4 p.m. May 9, Cardinal Hall, St. Paul Catholic Newman Center, 1572 E. Barstow Ave.
  • Educational Opportunity Program graduate recognition ceremony, 4 to 6 p.m. May 10, The Ruiz Ballroom, Resnick Student Union, first floor.
