Fresno Police Make Quick Arrest in Tower District Murder

Fresno police detectives, backed by SWAT, arrested Jeremiah Listman, 19, Monday in connection with a shooting death Saturday in the Tower District.

Authorities said that Listman is believed to be responsible for the murder of Tyrone Miles, 28. Officers found Miles suffering from a gunshot wound at about 2:45 a.m. and performed life-saving measures. However, he later died at Community Regional Medical Center.

Fresno County jail records show that Listman is in custody, but his charges and bail weren’t listed as of 3:30 p.m. Monday.
