Fresno's Country Crawl Brings Drinks, Prizes, and Free Trolley Rides Downtown

More than a dozen downtown Fresno businesses will participate in Country Crawl, a 21-and-older bar crawl featuring drink specials, live music, free trolley transportation, and prizes.

The event begins at 5 p.m. Saturday and tickets are $15. Each ticket includes a wristband providing no-cover entry, festive drink specials, and VIP or express lines at select participating businesses. Participants will also receive country-themed swag.

Attendees will receive a crawl map to collect stamps from participating businesses. Those who collect stamps from all participating stops can turn in their maps at Mezcal Lounge for a chance to win two VIP passes to Tequila Fest or $200. No purchase is necessary to receive stamps or enter the drawing.

Fresno’s Mezcal Lounge to Host Official Afterparty

The live prize drawing will take place at midnight at Mezcal Lounge, 1310 Van Ness Avenue. Participants must be present to win. Mezcal Lounge will also host the official afterparty from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Check-in begins at 5 p.m. at three locations: South of Shaw Brewing Company, 1755 Broadway Street, Suite 107, Kocky’s Bar & Grill, 1231 Van Ness Avenue, and Procreations Brewing, 1929 Santa Clara Street. Each participant must be present at check-in and show a valid ID to receive a wristband and crawl map.

Participating businesses include Procreations Brewing, Dab Tacos, Rec Room, Bespoke/Modernist, Smokin’ Woods BBQ, Moses McQueen’s, The Cave, Tioga Beer Garden, Los Panchos, Quail State, Frank’s Place at Warnors Theater, Neat & Noir, South of Shaw Brewing Company, Kocky’s Bar & Grill, On A Roll Sushi Mexican Japanese Bar, and Mezcal Lounge.

Free Transportation Provided by FresnoHOP

Free transportation will be available aboard the FresnoHOP Crawly Trolley beginning at 6 p.m. The route will begin at South of Shaw and follow the crawl route until midnight, with stops throughout Downtown Fresno to help participants travel between participating businesses.

Trolley stops include Broadway and Amador Street, near South of Shaw; Van Ness and Merced avenues, near On A Roll Sushi and Kocky’s; the 600 block of Van Ness near Moses McQueen’s; Santa Clara and Fulton streets, near Procreations; Inyo and Fulton streets, near Tioga Beer Garden and the Brewery District; and Mariposa and Fulton streets, near Los Panchos and Quail State.

Rides are scheduled every 30 minutes beginning at 6 p.m. Posted maps and the ride schedule are available at downtownfresno.org/crawldowntown.

Organizers encourage attendees to purchase tickets online in advance because availability is limited. Tickets are nonrefundable.
