Southbound Interstate 5 was closed at Jayne Avenue in western Fresno County on Wednesday after a traffic collision involving a semi-truck, according to Caltrans.

Transportation officials said motorists should expect delays and plan for alternate routes while crews respond to the crash scene. No estimated time of reopening was immediately available.

Caltrans did not release additional details about the collision, including whether there were any injuries.
