Taylor Swift was seated courtside at Wednesday night’s New York Knicks game, wearing a quirky take on Knicks gear. The singer was accompanied by musicians Alana and Este Haim.

Swift waved to the crowd and talked to some fans while wearing an orange-and-blue T-shirt that read “Stevie Knicks,” mixing her support for the team with support for the Fleetwood Mac musician. Alana Haim, similarly dressed in Knicks colors, wore another punny shirt, this one reading “Knickelback.” Este Haim went with “Knickole Kidman.”

Swift and the Haim sisters have been friends and musical collaborators for years. In 2020, the sibling rock band appeared on Swift’s album “Evermore” on the song “No Body, No Crime,” a track in which the group covers up a fictitious murder.

The group sat near other celebrity row standbys, including Ben Stiller, Spike Lee and Tracy Morgan.

For Swift, who got engaged to NFL star Travis Kelce last year, fans wondered if her attendance at the game perhaps doubled as a wedding planning expedition. Implausible as it may sound, tabloids have suggested that Madison Square Garden is on her list of possible venues. Imagine this arena, full of screaming fans in bright jerseys, plastic cups of beer and an emotional Timothée Chalamet, instead filled with elegant wisteria centerpieces, designer gowns, Sancerre and an emotional Timothée Chalamet.

Few details of the event have been publicly confirmed, but still, that hasn’t stopped bettors from gambling millions of dollars on the wedding, including $1 million on the location alone.

Kelce did not appear to be at the game with Swift. Weeks ago, the couple appeared at Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals in Cleveland, when the Knicks played the Cavaliers. Kelce, who is an Ohio native, sported Cavaliers gear, while Swift did not seem to show her loyalty to either team. The Knicks won by 13 points. During the game, Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, was spotted chugging a beer on the jumbotron while Swift looked on and laughed. The chair Swift sat in at that game is now up for auction.

As excitement has swirled about the potential of a New York City wedding for the couple, the two have been spotted out and about in multiple boroughs in recent weeks.

In May, the couple was seen in formal wear walking into Honey’s cocktail bar in Brooklyn and also dining at Sartiano’s, an Italian restaurant in SoHo in Manhattan. At the beginning of that month, Swift and other celebrity friends drew crowds outside West Village Italian restaurant Via Carota for Lena Dunham’s 40th birthday.
