Woman Injured After Sneezing, Running Red Light in Fresno Crash

A woman was injured Tuesday afternoon after police said she sneezed, ran a red light, and was struck by another vehicle near Perrin and Maple avenues in Fresno.

The two-vehicle crash was reported at 12:32 p.m. Police told GV Wire that the woman was driving to Costco when she sneezed and entered the intersection against a red light.

Her vehicle was then struck by another vehicle and she crashed into a tree.

The woman suffered minor injuries, police said. Fresno Fire Department crews had to extract her from the vehicle.

Police said that one of the drivers was transported to the hospital.
