A 32-year-old man was killed and a 22-year-old man injured early Sunday, March 15, in a shooting at a northwest Fresno apartment complex, police said.
Officers from the Northwest Policing District responded around 12:32 a.m. to reports of gunfire near Barstow and Blackstone avenues.
They found Shannon Ivory suffering multiple gunshot wounds in the carport and a 22-year-old man shot in the abdomen on an upstairs landing.

Both were taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where Ivory was pronounced dead at 1:20 a.m. The younger man was listed in stable condition.
Police said the victims had arrived at the complex when a disturbance broke out with another resident.
An unidentified man associated with that resident fired several shots at the victims. Investigators have identified Jaime Martinez, 21, as the suspect, who remains at large.
A murder warrant has been issued for his arrest.
