Fresno Police Seek Suspect in Fatal Shooting

Police say a man was shot and killed Thursday, March 19, night in southwest Fresno.

Officers responding at 10:02 p.m. to the area of Samson Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard found Perry Paul Espinosa, 40, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to provide medical aid, Espinosa died at the scene.

Investigators determined the shooting followed a disturbance involving several people. Detectives identified Michael Dorsey, 40, as the suspect and said he fled the scene.

A murder warrant has been issued for Dorsey’s arrest.
