A stolen BMW X4 used as a getaway car was quickly recovered by California Highway Patrol officers in Fresno, leading to the arrest of four people, authorities said on Monday.

Fresno-area CHP officers found the vehicle occupied by three men and one woman, all carrying stolen credit cards, officials said. All four were booked into jail.

“What seems like a quick score can turn into a one-way trip to jail faster than you can say ‘unauthorized charge,’” CHP Fresno noted in a statement.
