Fresno County Authorities Identify 19-Year-Old as Victim in Huron Homicide

The Fresno County Sheriff-Corner’s Office have identified the victim of a recent homicide as 19-year-old Luis Leyva.

Around 4:45 p.m. Friday, deputies with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office received a report of shots fired near the intersection of Crocker Avenue and Los Angeles Street in Huron.

When deputies arrived, they found Leyva suffering from gunshot wounds. Deputies provided medical aid, but Leyva died from his injuries.

The sheriff’s office said no further details were available. The case remains under investigation.
