GV Wire, in partnership with the Community Media Access Collaborative, will host a candidate forum for the open Fresno County Supervisor District 4 seat.

Candidates confirmed to attend include former Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims, Huron Mayor Rey Leon, Parlier Mayor Alma Beltran, and Selma Unified School District Trustee Nick Sahota.

The other candidate vying for the position is Charlie Soto.

Supervisor Ernest Buddy Mendes, who is currently serving in the position, is not running for reelection.

Bill McEwen of GV Wire will moderate the forum, which will focus on each candidate’s vision for District 4 and plans to address key community issues.

The debate will be live-streamed on GV Wire’s Facebook page, allowing the public to tune in and hear directly from the candidates.

The production is made possible through a collaboration with CMAC, Fresno’s Community Media Access Collaborative.
