Tulare County Shooting Leaves One Dead in Alpaugh

A man was shot and killed Thursday night in Alpaugh, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called just before 7:30 p.m. to the 5400 block of Billing Road for a report of a shooting.

When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and began CPR until emergency medical personnel arrived and took over life-saving efforts.

Despite those measures, the victim died at the scene.

Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit responded and have taken over the investigation.
