Pandora was adopted from us as a kitten and was recently returned through no fault of her own.
And, at 2 years old, she is learning how to feel safe and comfortable in a new environment.
Pandora is affectionate (if a bit shy) but people-oriented once she feels secure. She loves being petted and will happily bonk your hand to ask for more attention, especially if chin scratches are involved! Treats and wet food are high on her list of favorites.
The Cat House on the Kings is always a safety net for those lives that have been a part of ours. That’s why when Pandora and her sister, Puka, were faced with losing their human family, we gratefully accepted them back. A bonded pair as kittens, they seemed to have grown into their own more independent adults, so Puka was adopted this time without Pandora.
Pandora is very ready for her new “furrever home.” She’s hanging out in the adult/senior adoption room now, and she’s not sure about all that cattitude in there. What she truly needs is a calm, patient household that understands transitions can be hard and that she’ll need some time to adjust and settle in.
With a little patience, love, and consistency, Pandora will make a wonderful, loyal companion. She is ready to shower her future family with affection.
