Three people suffered minor to moderate injuries Wednesday night when their vehicle went off the road and down a hillside on Trimmer Springs Road near Pine Flat Lake, authorities said.

Fresno County CalFire crews responded after reports came in just after 9 p.m., locating the vehicle about 250 feet down the hill.

One patient was brought back up using a coordinated rope rescue operation, officials said.
