GV Wire’s Edward Smith talks with KMPH Fox 26 “Great Day” anchor Liz Gonzalez about a possible lawsuit by the Fresno County Board of Supervisors against Fresno County Assessor/Recorder Paul Dictos over real estate transaction fees.

Dictos told GV Wire he stands by his interpretation of SB 2, which governs the fees, and welcomes the matter going to court.

Though the county is suing Dictos in his official capacity, a spokesperson said the county is not responsible for his legal fees. The spokesperson said the county is not aware of another instance of a lawsuit against itself.
