Highway 99 in Bakersfield is closed at Olive Drive due to police activity, with southbound traffic diverted at Olive Drive and northbound traffic diverted at Airport Drive, Caltrans said Wednesday.

They also said the connector ramp from Highway 204 to northbound Highway 99 is closed and delays are expected with no estimated time of reopening.
