Three people were arrested Saturday after allegedly robbing two victims at gunpoint in the Visalia Mall parking structure, authorities said.
Officers responded around 11 a.m. after the victims, who had arranged to sell clothing online, were approached by three male suspects. One suspect reportedly had a handgun and stole roughly $1,000 worth of clothing before fleeing.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit, assisted by Patrol officers, the HOPE Team, the Gang Suppression Unit, and Property Crimes detectives, tracked a suspect vehicle to a Visalia home. When the vehicle later left the residence, officers stopped it and found the stolen clothing along with a P80 “ghost gun.” All three occupants were arrested.
A subsequent search warrant at a Visalia residence uncovered additional stolen property linked to the robbery.
The arrested suspects were identified as DeAnthony Todd, 19, Jamal Miller, 18, and a 16-year-old juvenile.
