Authorities Arrest Six Suspects in Fresno Homicide Investigation

Authorities have arrested six people in connection with a 2025 homicide that left an 18-year-old man dead.

On Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, Southwest Policing District officers responded around 11:30 p.m. to reports of an unresponsive male at Marks and McKinley avenues.

Officers found Karim Williams, 18, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite emergency aid, Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Thursday, March 12, Fresno Police, the Multi Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium, U.S. Marshals, and the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department served multiple search and arrest warrants in Fresno and Tulare counties. Those arrested for murder and robbery include Jaylon Black, 21, Josiah Rogers, 19, a 17-year-old juvenile, and a 14-year-old juvenile.

Two additional suspects, Kwame Pree, 20, and Jaymari Sconiers, 20, were already in custody on unrelated charges, which were updated to include murder and robbery.

Detectives said the motive for Williams’ killing was robbery.
