Madera County Sheriff's Business Phone Lines Down, 911 Still Functional

The Madera County Sheriff’s Office is experiencing a phone outage affecting all business lines, including its non-emergency dispatch line.

The outage is currently impacting the sheriff’s headquarters in Madera County as well as the Ranchos Substation. However, 911 emergency calls remain functional at this time, authorities reported.

For non-emergent needs, the sheriff’s office is directing the public to call (559) 373-0342 or (559) 373-0172. Those trying to reach the Ranchos Substation should call (559) 645-0035.

The Oakhurst Substation is not affected by the outage and can still be reached at (559) 642-3201 or (559) 642-3202.
