A 51-year-old Exeter man was arrested Monday on outstanding felony warrants and faces additional charges after authorities found methamphetamine and a privately manufactured pistol during searches of his vehicle and home.

Robert Bailey was taken into custody by the Tulare County Agencies Regional Gun Violence Enforcement Team with assistance from the Visalia Police Department Narcotics Unit. He had two outstanding felony warrants related to firearms and narcotics violations from previous TARGET investigations.

During a search of Bailey’s vehicle, investigators found a large quantity of methamphetamine packaged for sale. A subsequent search warrant executed at his residence turned up additional methamphetamine and a privately manufactured pistol.

Bailey was booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Detention Facility.
